I’ve started working on a new series that I hope to be able to show you in the lead up to Christmas. I’m aiming high and trying to achieve something a little different, while still being able to show off my usual feature paintings. It’s all very cryptic at this stage… but i’m excited and can’t wait to hear what you think. In the meantime, I couldn’t wait to share this new illustration! It’s part of the project i’m developing and it’s quite the festive scene. At least it seems appropriate now that the Christmas markets are in full swing.
Skate Somerset House
Here is ‘Skate Somerset House’, a 28 x 28 cm acrylic and ink painting on paper. I’ve already developed it into a Christmas/greeting card that will be available in the next week or so. It features the courtyard of the grand Somerset House building on the Thames and shows the crowds enjoying the ice rink in front of the sparkling Christmas tree.
