Need a little distraction from all of the politics? here’s a colourful video to stare at for a few minutes! this view over Paris was commissioned as a birthday surprise. It’s rather freeing to be given a open brief on such a detailed scene as this. There’s just too much to draw on an A3 sized piece of acrylic paper. But I think that allows a lot of creativity, because it can only really be an impression of that scale. In my case I usually express that through extra colour and abstract shapes on the horizon. Here’s a new studio time lapse capturing the work in progress.
