This is my first illustrated pattern design, called There’s No Place Like Home, celebrating those moments close to where we live… homely buildings, little shops and wandering figures enjoying the tree lined streets. It features decorative townhouses, coffee shops and bakeries. I posted a time lapse of the painting process for one small section of this pattern, you can see the video for the Little Flower Shop here.
I decided to put it to the test on these wrapping paper sheets. When unfolded each sheet is 594 x 841 mm printed on 135gsm paper and you can now pick up packs of this wrapping paper in my online shop. I think the result is quite striking and i’m looking forward to using the pattern across other things as well as experimenting with further designs.
