One of my Winchester artworks has been brilliantly installed as a large wallpaper mural in this home stairwell. My ‘View From St Giles Hill’ painting captures the scene along the High Street, all roofs and leafy treetops. I had to digitally extend the sky so that the artwork cropped more naturally to the space, but that was relatively easy with the use of photoshop and some spare painted textures. I think the colours have come out very well and the detail holds up even at this big scale.
