I’m delighted to say that two of my greeting card designs are now available to buy from the National Trust shop at Mottisfont Abbey. I recently completed the process for becoming a supplier to the National Trust; which feels like another little career milestone for me! Here’s a quick sketch of the shop… a wonderful building in itself. The new welcome centre and shop space was designed by Architects Burd Haward in 2014.
They currently have copies of my ‘Snowdrops at Mottisfont Abbey‘ greeting card that I painted in the Spring; along with this ‘Winter Stables‘ design. The shop manager has been so welcoming and we’ve discussed lots of ideas for some new seasonal scenes for 2023. I’m currently working on something special for the rose garden so watch this space! 🌹
If you haven’t been before, Mottisfont is well worth the visit! Like many National Trust run sites; it is special place to observe the seasons. They also have wonderful exhibitions at the house and put on a wonderful Christmas display. Our kids just love doing the trails around the grounds! The gardens and the shop are open most days 10am-4pm… but it’s worth checking ahead for the house and exhibitions.
