Greenwich Park is one of the eight Royal Parks in London. Here’s my line work for a new illustration I’m working on, featuring the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. This one is a personal project that I hope will make a nice addition to my Christmas card range. Why not have a go at this Greenwich Park Colouring page yourself?
Personally, I think there’s a lot of surprising colour to be found in the tree branches and bare shrubs. I love going out walking during the Winter months and finding those deep reds, rustic browns and striking oranges. Especially when set against a good fall of snow! Although a proper snowfall is rare. But even a good covering of frost can provide a carpet of chilly blue tones. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with exaggerating those expressive shadows with lots of navy and purple hues.
I’d love to see what colours you might find here… but if you’d prefer you can check back soon to see how my artwork turns out!
