New in the studio shop! I’ve just had these lovely reproductions of my Centre Court painting arrive from the printers. This Wimbledon art print is approx 20 x 20cm. Shown here mounted within a 40x 40cm Nielsen aluminium frame. Limited to my usual edition of 25; they are available unframed, mounted or framed and ready to hang.
I actually have two versions of this illustration and briefly considered producing a 2nd edition featuring the alternative scene. There isn’t a great deal of difference between them… but having painted the ladies tournament I edited another version in Fresco featuring the men’s singles. Minor adjustments with new figures and an edited scoreboard. The two illustrations actually sit side by side on the mug design that i’ve been selling at the studio and through my Etsy shop. In the end I decided to stick with the ladies singles as it felt most authentic to my initial painting.
I had a few people ask after this sunny Wimbledon Art Print and I hope they will be happy with how it’s turned out… but I for one am very pleased with it. I certainly think it’s captured the colour and vibrancy of the original artwork.
