PACKING AND DELIVERY

Lay Flat Delivery

Prints and cards are tissue paper wrapped and placed inside a board backed envelope for delivery. Where an envelope is too big for letterbox delivery, an artwork warning sticker is placed on the outside. Art prints are also protected inside the envelope with an extra cardboard backing, then cellophane wrapped. The cellophane is recommended on prints to prevent potential water damage, but you can select the no plastic option (i’m gradually adding checkboxes to all my relevant listings) to have the print packed without that wrapper.

Frames

For paintings or art prints that are framed, I wrap with archival tissue paper and bubble wrap before packing inside a sturdy box. The frame is further protected with paper filler or recycled airbags.

Delivery Services & Cost

The bulk of items are dispatched with Royal Mail with larger items (usually framed artworks or original paintings) sent via a courier. You should be presented with a choice of delivery options at checkout, including some tracked services. A price calculator is available in your basket if you’d like an estimated cost.

Taxes & Import Paperwork

I charge VAT on all my UK shop transactions. International customers will not be charged the UK rate but are responsible for any import duties to their respective countries.

Dispatch Times

My main post bag days are Monday and Friday. So weekend orders are usually processed and sent out on the Monday. On average i’m able to dispatch within 1-2 working days, especially for stationery stock. Framed prints may take a little longer as each piece is freshly mounted to order. Bespoke or back ordered designs can take 8-10 working days, but i’ll always try to send out orders as soon as they are ready.

Tracking

For courier deliveries or tracked services a tracking link will be sent through the shop messaging system. I’m afraid standard Royal Mail services, including International deliveries are not tracked.

Collection from the Studio

I do offer collection from the studio. If you live within travel distance or know you will be passing, feel free to place an order online and tick ‘Collect from the Studio’ for the delivery option. The studio is mostly open on weekday mornings, but i’m happy to take visits by appointment at evenings and some weekends. Please get in touch to arrange a convenient collection time.

Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping is available if you would like to send an item as a present. The packing receipt/price will be removed. A tag with a personal message can also be included. I use my own original designs for wrapping paper which you can also buy in packs for use at home.
