Description
Original acrylic and ink painting ‘Christmas Market Switzerland’ on paper, 20 x 20 cm finished with a black 40 x 40 cm aluminium frame. A quote for custom framing is also available on request. Or just select unframed from the dropdown menu to frame the work yourself.
Created from a mix of real life scenes from the festive season in Switzerland. This Christmas illustration tries to capture the celebrations at Christmas a traditional Christmas Market. I originally designed this scene for a set of Christmas cards in 2012. That collection also included the illustrations: ‘Mountain Village‘, ‘Church of St Leodegar‘ and ‘Snow Topped‘. The packs sold very well at the time, despite the majority of included scenes not having a specific location/subject.
Gift wrapping is available if you would like to give this item as a present. A tag with a personal message can also be included. I use my own original designs for wrapping paper which you can also buy in packs for use at home.
If you’d like to buy an original piece of artwork, but would prefer to spread the cost, drop me a line to discuss options for paying in instalments. Smaller invoices can be arranged over a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.
Christmas Market Switzerland
– Original acrylic and ink painting on specialist paper.
✍️ – Signed on the artwork & delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
– Can be presented in a frame with an acrylic glass window and white mount, custom framing is also available.
– Unframed artworks are still placed within a white mount, cellophane wrapped with cardboard backing and packed with tissue/brown paper.
– The frame is protected with tissue paper and bubble wrap. The artwork is then packed within a cardboard shell/box and filled with bubble wrap or airbags.
– Need it for a certain date? Add a note to your order and i’ll do my best.

Generally I present my artworks in a clean aluminium or thin wood frame and everything is finished by hand in the studio. If you have a particular custom framing style you’d like to match or if you’d like something different, i’d be happy to quote for a custom frame. Although I usually only keep black and light wood options in stock… almost all colours and materials can be ordered in.
