Description
Historic Winchester poster, 50 x 70 cm, featuring an illustration of the city from a vantage point high up on St Giles Hill. It features King Alfred’s Statue and the Cathedral nestled in between a colourful array of buildings and rooftops. It draws inspiration from old railway posters, displaying the vibrance of the city and inviting us to explore those interesting hidden details.
Each poster is made on 135 gsm matt coated paper. Available ready to hang in a black glazed aluminium frame. Or choose ‘rolled poster’ to frame it yourself or simply to hang it without a frame. Framed posters are well bubble-wrapped and surrounded by a protective cardboard shell for delivery. Rolled posters are protected by a polythene poster sleeve, then wrapped with tissue paper and placed in a cardboard postage tube ready for delivery.
This item is wrapped presented in a nice white cardboard tube. If you would like to give this item as a present I can include a note with a personal message and remove any price tags.
Out of stock items can usually be back ordered. You can place an order as normal through the online shop and it will be dispatched as soon as possible. It normally takes around 8-10 working days to come back into stock. If you need to receive your order before a specific date, feel free to message the studio before or add a customer note whilst placing an order. I’ll do my best to meet your deadline.

– This Historic Winchester travel poster has been printed in brilliant full colour, onto 135gsm matt paper stock.
– Unframed posters are rolled with tissue paper and delivered in a protective cardboard tube.
– Can be presented in a black frame with glazing, custom framing is also available.
– Framed posters are delivered within a cardboard shell/box and filled with bubble wrap or airbags.

Custom Framing
Generally I present my artworks in a clean aluminium or thin wood frame and everything is finished by hand in the studio. If you have a particular custom framing style you’d like to match or if you’d like something different, i’d be happy to quote for a custom frame. Although I usually only keep black and light wood options in stock… almost all colours and materials can be ordered in.

Gift wrapping is available if you would like to give this item as a present. A tag with a personal message can also be included. I use my own original designs for wrapping paper which you can also buy in packs for use at home.
