Original acrylic and ink painting ‘Port Isaac’ on 70 x 50cm canvas and presented in a white 74 x 54cm floater frame. The painting is lightweight for it’s size, so it is delivered strung and ready to hang.
This is a lovely mantlepiece size canvas of the Cornish fishing village. The port is up on the Atlantic Coast near to Wadebridge and is perhaps best known as a location in TV and film. There was so much wonderful detailing in the buildings down at the quayside and it was great to have an opportunity to get lost in them on a larger composition. Lots of line work to balance across the centre of the painting. It allowed more painterly effects in the foreground too and I particular like the way the hills roll away in the background.
Gift wrapping is available if you would like to give this item as a present. A tag with a personal message can also be included. I use my own original designs for wrapping paper which you can also buy in packs for use at home.
