Description
Original acrylic and ink painting ‘Zurich Rooftops’ on 70 x 50cm canvas and presented in a white 74 x 54cm floater frame. The painting is lightweight for it’s size, so it is delivered strung and ready to hang.
This is the result of a few different sketches, collaging some of my favourite Zurich rooftops into a believable scene. It’s my usual acrylic and ink style. Included in the view are the spires of the Grossmünster, Fraumünster and Peterskirche with the painting fading out over lake Zurich. The biggest and most obvious element of ‘collage’ is the addition of the Swiss National Museum in the foreground. I’ve painted a lot of Swiss scenes with colder wintery colours, so I particularly enjoyed working with these earthier tones.
Gift wrapping is available if you would like to give this item as a present. A tag with a personal message can also be included. I use my own original designs for wrapping paper which you can also buy in packs for use at home.
If you’d like to buy an original piece of artwork, but would prefer to spread the cost, drop me a line to discuss options for paying in instalments. Smaller invoices can be arranged over a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.

– The surface is protected with tissue paper and bubble wrap. The artwork is then packed within a cardboard shell/box and filled with bubble wrap or airbags.
